Rules & Guidelines
Leadership Award
Purpose:
To recognize exceptional leaders who have demonstrated visionary guidance, impactful decision-making, and significant contributions to their organization or industry.
Eligibility:
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience.
- Must hold a mid-to-senior leadership role
Evaluation Criteria:
- Demonstrated leadership that resulted in measurable organizational growth.
- Contributions to team development, innovation, or strategic transformation.
- Ethical conduct, integrity, and positive influence on industry/community.
Submission Requirements:
- Updated CV (max 5 pages)
- A statement of leadership achievements (500–700 words).
- Supporting documents/evidence (certificates, media references, project reports).
Distinguished Engineer Award
Purpose:
To honour highly accomplished engineers with outstanding professional achievements, technical excellence, and long-standing contributions to the engineering field.
Eligibility:
- Minimum 10 years of engineering experience.
- Recognized contributions to major projects, standards, or innovations.
- Membership in professional bodies (desirable).
- Mentoring
Evaluation Criteria:
- Technical excellence and impactful engineering achievements.
- Contributions to industry advancement or knowledge-sharing.
- Publications, patents, keynote talks, or project leadership.
Submission Requirements:
- Detailed CV (max 4 pages).
- Summary of major engineering contributions (600–1000 words).
- Evidence: project briefs, patents, publications, photos, citations.
Young Engineer Award
Purpose:
To recognize young professionals who demonstrate outstanding early-career achievements, innovation, and potential for future leadership in engineering.
Eligibility:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
- Contributions in major projects
- Problem solving
- Knowledge sharing
Evaluation Criteria:
- Early-career achievements: impactful projects, innovations, or solutions.
- Professional growth, leadership potential, and commitment to learning.
- Creativity and future potential.
Submission Requirements:
- CV (max 3 pages).
- Statement of achievements (400–600 words).
- Project or performance evidence.
Emerging Engineer Award
(For Final-Year Engineering Students)
Purpose:
To encourage and recognize exceptional final-year engineering students who show innovation, technical curiosity, and strong potential for industry leadership.
Eligibility:
- Must be a final-year student (any engineering discipline).
- Must submit proof of enrolment.
- Individual or group projects may apply (max 3 members).
Evaluation Criteria:
- Quality and originality of academic/engineering projects.
- Innovation, problem-solving skills, and practical application.
- Academic performance (minimum 60% or equivalent).
- Participation in competitions, internships, or technical clubs.
Submission Requirements:
- CV (max 3 pages).
- Project abstract (300–500 words) + supporting documents.
- Faculty recommendation.
General Rules for All Awards
- All submissions must be made through the official KINETIC portal
- Supporting documents should be clear, concise, and verifiable.
- The jury panel’s decisions will be final.
- Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
- Awards may not be given if minimum standards are not met.
