The above notification appeared in Kuwait times and Arab Times on the 9th Nov. 1983. This is how it started. The initiatives taken by a few enthusiasts like M/s P.C. George, Mohammed Kutty, Salu John, K.P.Jayamohan, K.Rajagopal, Raman Namboothiri, and K.S.Govindan, culminated in the first get together at the posh Banquet Hall of the Meridian Hotel on the 20th of Jan. 1984.
It was a memorable day for many when they and their families introduced themselves. Batch mates, classmates, project mates, game mates, hostel mates, lodge mates, bus mates, met and refreshed themselves with fascinating and enchanting old memories. Many of them were meeting for the first time after leaving Kothamangalam many years ago
